About Me

Aloha,

My name is Tae W. Kim. I grew up in Kaneohe, Hawaii. I graduated from James B. Castle High School in 1984 and was nominated to the West Point. I received my B.A. from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa and Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1991. I worked at the District Attorney's office in Norman, Oklahoma for a year before returning home in 1992. I have since been licensed and actively practicing Criminal Defense work in Honolulu, Hawaii.

I am passionate about improving the Honolulu Prosecutor’s Office with community inputs and without playing politics or political favoritism.

Please explore this wesite to learn more about the issues and changes I would like to personally see through as the next Honolulu City Prosecutor.
